Summary

This premium grill cleaning brush eliminates bristles found in traditional grill brush designs and instead uses a durable, flexible, and heat-resistant steel mesh.

Challenge

Most grill brushes on the market suffer from a short product life. These tools are used in a harsh environment and not in a delicate way. It was important to OXO that we make this product last longer than the competition through durability and replacement parts. One big hurdle was doing away with steel bristles, which often fall off and end up in the end users’ food, and replacing them with something just as effective at cleaning.

Result

The OXO Good Grips Bristle-Free Coiled Grill Brush. The durable, stainless steel coils combined with the flexible heat-resistant silicone thoroughly clean grill grates, and the bristle-free design leaves nothing behind. The built-in metal scraper features cut-outs to get around grill grates to scrape off any stuck-on food. The stainless steel body and head are high-heat resistant for cleaning hot grills, while the angled head and long, soft-grip handle allow for leverage without getting your hands too close. The brush head easily unlatches for thorough cleaning or replacement with a new one to prolong the life of the product.
